Cave Delving

A fully active, grid-based treasure hunt that unlocks at level 30. Each level is a fog-of-war grid; from the entrance you uncover one fogged cell at a time, spending 1 Torch per reveal. Movement is frontier-style — you can reveal any fogged cell that borders a cell you've already uncovered, not just one next to where you last stepped (re-entering a cleared cell is free). Cells hide treasure chests, colored clues, resource stashes, or the exit to a deeper, richer level.

Before you can delve

The cave mouth is blocked by a rockfall you clear once, paying 100 Planks + 80 Stone Bricks + 250 Stone + 50 Hardwood. After that, light a Torch and descend.

Chests & rarity

Chests are collected during a run and banked when you retreat, then opened from your inventory for rarity-scaled loot (Gold, rare materials, ore, and Cave Treasures). Deeper levels roll better rarities:

Cargo

You can carry 6 chests by default, plus 6 more per running Cargo Depot (and the Town Hall Expedition boost). Fill up and retreat to bank them.

Delving is exclusive — it pauses gathering, crafting, fishing, and climbing.
